Charities and Events

The first of many BMX events that will be held in Ventura in the future. Design and management of this facility is a total rad Set Up. 
Land Rover Jaguar Ventura was very happy to be part of an outdoors event, with dirt, kids, hills, food and fun.

Land Rovers do this every weekend BUT this was all BMX. Kids were outside and did not have their cell phones on.... what a concept!!!  Playing outside is cool again, SEEEEE Ya ....... Nintendo!!  The Deck was packed with riders of all ages, yes even Dudes with grey hair! Not sure if all the frames were 4130’s but I saw plenty of Can-can’s, Bunny-Hop’s, a few Dead Sailors, and a Rad Biff. I must say the event was a GREAT Session.

Very well run event and bigger events are on the schedule for 2013.  Go to their FB and like them.... while you are at it.....like us too.

Boys and Girls club of Camarillo Marla Runyan half Marathon:

Marla is a Olympian Runner. She graduated from Camarillo High School in 1987.
She is legally blind. In 2002 Marla finished as the top American with the second-fastest debut tine by a woman in the New York City Marathon. 
She has served as the Ambassador for the Pekins School for the Blind, most famous student, Helen Keller.
She can no longer see the E on the eye exam chart.
She co wrote No Finish Line  with her husband? Coach Matt Lonergan.

5th Anual Ventura Motorsport Gathering

Land Rover Jaguar was at it again with their continued off site marketing.  This time it was at the 5th annual Ventura Motorsport Gathering at Marina Park here in Ventura.

    


We have been a sponsor and participant since the beginning. This is a great opportunity to see rare vehicles, unique cars and just have a great time. The Mullen Museum shared a unique race car with the crowd.  Be sure to attend next year.  It is Ventura County's answer to the Pebble Beach Concourse without the $275.00 entry fee.



Land Rover Jaguar Ventura was very happy to be involved with the American Cancer Society August 6th 2011 at the famous Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard.
"Evening of Hope" was the theme and thank you to all the generous fellow sponsors, together we raised over $150,000.00 !!!
The Bugatti Ball was sponsored by the local automotive professionals group “Wheels For a Cure,” honored Ventura oncologist/radiologist Thomas Fogel, MD,   a 25-year ACS volunteer and former board member for the Society’s California Division, who has tirelessly furthered the Society’s mission of reducing the cancer burden in Ventura County.

 
A Santa Rosa resident, Patrick Warburton, of “Rules of Engagement” and “Seinfeld” fame, emceed the event. Curator Andrew Reilly led private museum tours prior to the formal dinner by celebrity caterer The Kitchen For Exploring Foods. The evening included live entertainment by Round Trip and vocalist Marcella Detroit and an engine-revving auction. Guests also enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and a silent auction.

Land Rover Jaguar Ventura took the 2012 Range Rover Evoque.

It was a big hit..... no one spilled any red wine inside BUT everyone commented on the comfort and wine tasters asked numerous great questions.
This was a very well attended event and the weather was awesome!!
